How do you see the selection of Saurabh Tiwari in the squad for Asia Cup?
He had an excellent season in the IPL and is a very talented young player. Do you think it was a right choice to select Tiwari for an important tournament like Asia Cup or should he have been selected for the Zimbabwe tour? And Also - Do you agree with the selectors for not including Yuvraj in the side? Is this the best squad India could have got? If not, suggest changes.

Though I think preference should be given to Manish Pandey, but still its a good decision. He should already have picked for the Zimbabwe tour if the selectors wanted to test young players. Yuvraj's exclusion is a good decision. Just hope he gain his lost mojo in the meanwhile. But I am still not satisfied with Jadeja, Dinda and Ashwin's presence. They are nothing special.

I am neither happy nor sad bcoz Manish Pandey,Pujara, Uthappa , or may be RP Singh would have been given a chance to prove themself. But i am happy to see atleast a one good youngster's selection.

For sure..Tiwari is a good choice and he should get a chance...UV should be out for some time,,it will be good for indian team and for him also :) :) :) :) :)

I am glad Yuvraj and Pathan are dropped. Sachin is a great player but india needs to learn to play without him. I don't know much about Tiwari but he others have been tested so why not to give a chance to a new young talent? I think this experiment will work in india's favor.

its a good move by the selectors. yuvi needs sum time to settle down. Atleast 1 player shud b there from ur state or else wats the point in being a selector. Ashwin is a good player. Tiwary is goin 4 a holiday trip. But he shud make use of this chance at the nets.

i think he has a lot of talent he also delivered his best in the 2010 IPL he is a up coming cricketer.

Decisions based on IPL have failed India so far, even Dhoni voiced his opinion re this but nothing wrong in blooding new talent, who has done well but problem with team India selection is-- whether or not poor guy gets to play, he might get thrown out, for no reason, policy should be like ACB, you either don't get in & if you are in, you get ample chances to prove your selection, either way. Yuvraj is Pawar's clone, he is too cocky, definitely a good player, out of form but his swagger tells us a lot about him, despite whatever he says about himself--- let him rest & recapture his form & fitness, Yusuf might have played his last game, his weakness against the fast bowlers is over-obvious, rest of the team is usual, couple of players here & there, they have to perform to their hype & be worthy of their remunerations, they get as team India players, going th. a lean patch, with T-20 debacle & joke of a team playing in Zim tri-series, lost India one ranking, which should teach BCCI a lesson or so, so this the best of the lot we have, let them prove themselves, good luck !! More than team India, its our-----public's fickleness, we are either over-joyed with one win over Australia or Pakistan & down the dumps after one loss, so we should learn to be more patient & let the team get back into the form, as core of the team remains unchanged, its their performances, which go up or down, once they are consistent enough then team India is strong enough, yet not naturally strongest in the world, so along with the players,we should also know the limits, this team India can perform up to.

Yes. Tiwari is a good choice. As far as Yuvraj's exclusion is concerned, you have already replied to my question. Yes. This is a "suitable" team for Asia cup.

Chinese parents no longer view sports as an active past time, it's now a chore to get their kids growing. Therefore swimming and particularly basketball became favourites. Football (soccer) seems not to be that popular in contrast to South Korea or Japan, we all know what's the reason behind that, right? China sucks at soccer, period. Although you must have seen China performance in the Olympic games, there are kids training vigorously to become professional athletes.
