How dependent is Asia's economy on the United States?

How dependent is Asia's economy on the United States?
With the recent troubles of the US economy and the sinking value of the dollar, how will this affect Asia? Is Asia dependent on the United States economy? If the dollar drops in value what does that do to the currencies of Asia? I have relatives in the Philippines and it sort of worries me.

It's a good thing for Asia. Because the dollar drops, that means the value of other currencies becomes stronger which makes the exchange advantageous for other countries other than US. It also means the Asian countries will be able to purchase more from the US because its value has gone down and they do not have to spend as much in order to buy the same thing.

Asia is sort of dependent on U.S. economy. I'm pretty sure the U.S. invests in foreign countries, and U.S. companies hire workers in Asia. The sinking value will not affect much, and a sinking dollar value is not exactly trouble. Some economists view budget deficits as a sign of strong economy because its citizens are able to afford more consumable goods. Exchange rates will be more favorable, though it doesn't matter much. The dollar isn't dropping that fast, so there's not much to worry about.

As far as China goes.... 21% https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ch.html Scroll down to Economy.. then Export partners. If the US goes downhill, we will buy less consumer goods... which means a downturn for China. But I dont think that will happen on a huge scale.

"With the recent troubles of the US economy and the sinking value of the dollar, how will this affect Asia?" The sinking dollar will be good for Asian currencies. How much will it affect their lifestyles? Not much. Asians in general are pretty self-sustaining people both environmentally and economically. I would think that even if the US economy collapsed, Asians would still be okay, for the most part. Asian investors in the American economy and financial markets would be devestated, but they make up only a small part of the population. "Is Asia dependent on the United States economy?" It depends where. The Phillipines for example, wouldn't be affected much as compared to Saudi Arabia, which relies heavily on its oil exports. You will find that the United States is more dependent on Asia than Asia is on the US. If the US economy collapsed (not just receeded), which it will most likely do in the next 3-5 years, most of the world will be affected. The only places that would survive is places that sustain their own economy. Places where most of the jobs are domestic.

the original Buddhism is in nepal, srilaka, india and south east asian countries. Buddha himself is Nepalese not indian but he went to study a lot of magic stuffs with the wizards and hermits in india and then he enlighted in india but his religion doesn't famous in india because indian ppl like the religion that have a magnificent ritual for example, the Hindus and Brahman. - most of the nepalese, srilakan and south east asian like thai practice both Hindus and Buddism. they believe that hindus and buddism is the same religion. take a look at thailand for instance? the monk build the biggest Genesha ( one of Hindus god) statue in the world nearby a river in thailand. I caucasian and was born in thailand, I'm Buddist... as I know Theravada is the oldest sect of Buddism. the monk can't touch the women but Mahayana sect, the monks can toch women.

Well, we don't really know what exactly 'the original form' of Buddhism was. The Theravada school claims to be the closest, but other traditions would not necessarily agree with that. Theravada was one of many slightly different traditions that appeared after the Buddha passed away - not unlike what happened in Christianity. This happens simply because one can always interpret teachings somewhat differently. When the Buddha's teachings were first written down in the 'Pali canon', this became a bit like the bible for the Theravada Buddhists. We will probably never know which teachings of the Buddha were simply forgotten or wrongly memorized when writing don this canon hundreds of years after the passing away of the Buddha. Again, comparing this to Christianity, also the Bible was compiled hundreds of years after Jesus passed away, and even if all the original texts were copied and translated correctly, what about the experience and memories of other disciples?

How long do I have to wait for Yes-Asia to verify my credit card?

How long do I have to wait for Yes-Asia to verify my credit card?
It's the end of the second day, I hope they get back to me soon. Has anyone else experienced this before? They sent me an e-mail saying: To ensure that you are the rightful cardholder and to protect you from any unauthorized use of your credit card, kindly provide us with one of the following information at your earliest convenience: 1. A copy of the front and back image of your credit card. (Please black-out the signature area for your own protection); OR 2. A copy of your most recent credit card statement, which must clearly show the credit card number, the cardholder name and the billing address. It had other things in it, like saying that it's on hold and stuff. I trust Yes-Asia. But, I just don't want to be ripped off 185 dollars. I've already e-mailed them back, I did option A. 8D Nevermind guys! It just got approved~ Thanks for your support <3 Have a great day~

I've made purchases at Yes-Asia but wasn't subject to the requirement you mentioned. I don't see the need for them to do so. All that they need is to check with the credit card issuance company to confirm that you're the rightful owner. Alternatively, you could connect with your credit card company and let them know of your purchased and advise them to 'approve' the purchased. Yes-Asia will then be notified by the credit card to proceed with the purchase..
