Where can I find a good POLITICAL map of Asia and the Middle East?
I need a good map of Asia and the Middle East that I can find online. It would also be helpful if it were close up.

This is my favorite site for maps. https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/docs/refmaps.html Use " select a country or location" pull down bar at the top of the page for individual country maps and facts.

I suggest Philippines.. -English is widely used -People are very friendly and hospitable -Transport is cheap -The food is great -Accommodation is plentiful -There are thousands of places to go to: "Eighth Wonder of the World-" the Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao; Paoay Church in Laoag Ilocos Norte-one of UNESCO's world's heritage sites (and hundreds of other beautiful churches and cathedrals); Baguio City - the summer capital of the Philippines; Vigan with all of its culture and history; Maria Christina Falls and hotsprings in Laguna; Palawan-known for amazing species of wildlife and marine life; Chocolate Hills in Bohol; Boracay in Aklan; other beautiful beaches such as Pagudpod, Mactan Island, Panglao, Dakak, El Nido, Pearl Farm, Camiguin (also known for the presence of a number of majestic waterfalls that create both hot and cold springs); Mt. Mayon with its perfect cone shape in Albay; The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park which is also in UNESCO’s World Heritage List...not to mention the cities and the 7,107 islands you can go to... -You can do activities like: whale watching in Sorsogon; Dive and see breathtaking underwater beauty in different diving spots-Puerto Galera, Anilao, Tubbataha Reef National Park to name a few; white water rafting in Cagayan de Oro; surf in Siargao; caving in Peñablanca, Cagayan, Sagada or in Bukidnon; rock climbing; sea kayaking; trekking; canopy walking; see colorful festivals and many more...<; Anyhow, i wish you'll enjoy your visit in SE Asia, wherever place you decide to go to..<;

What kind of permanent jobs can a person without a university degree get in South East Asia?

What kind of permanent jobs can a person without a university degree get in South East Asia?
I want to move to somewhere in South East Asia, it's not important where but I don't have a university degree. Are there any permanent type jobs a person could get there, besides teaching English? Is it possible to get a job at a hostel, hotel or somewhere in the the tourism sector?

You don't have any experience or education so what makes you think you will get a job in Thailand in the hotel or tourism sector. Why would a hotel hire you as a bell boy, you have no skill in hotel management. Not sure why you asked in the Thai Travel Section only but any company would hire a Thai over some uneducated foreigner. Unless you can find a foreign company, who will hire you and sent you to Thailand your SOL.
2 :
Well you didn't outline your experience, but there are opportunities in south east asia but they are few and far between and most require that you go there. For example, a back packer hostel might look for someone to work there, as do top hotels and resorts throughout asia. However this work is rarely legal. You could also get an English teaching certificate and with the help of photoshop, a fake university diploma...and teach English. Real jobs are usually for people with the appropriate experience and qualifications. Other people have supported themselves in south east asia engaging in range of different activities. For example often people obtain a business visa and work several part-time jobs. If you have experience or qualificaiton in something tourism related (eg SCUBA teacher) then it is easy to work in a resort teaching people how to SCUBA dive. Other opportunities include business, especially if you have contacts back home you can spend you time in south east asia sourcing cheap products for small businesses back home. The truth is more people than ever before are travelling around the world, which means it is harder than ever before.
3 :
I can't speak for the rest of SE Asia but in Thailand a hotel, hostel or any other type business will hire a Thai person over a foreigner, they don't have to pay them much, no special paperwork for a work visa, no language barrier. If you don't have a special skill to make you hire-able I'm sorry to burst your dream bubble but in Thailand you have two chances of getting hired; slim and none.
4 :
Service jobs are prohibited to foreigners so you cannot work legally in nearly every type of job that you could get without a degree. Even the requirements for English teachers are more strict now so you won't be able to work legally in that either. And the risk of working illegally is a stay at the immigration detention center which is hell on earth from all accounts.
5 :
Owen it's not easy but your only option would be to make a living on line, if you can survive on your income at home Thailand or SEA as a whole will be no problem. Many farangs do this, although the Thai authorities frown upon it they have little or no way of checking. You would have to keep hopping borders to keep your visas current but that is easy enough. Just come up with a way to work online to provide a living income, not easy is it.

I know where you can get a job in a few months harvesting rice for 180 baht a day. You don't need a university degree for that.

Forget all about it! Not in Thailand.

South Korea or Japan. Rich cultures and economic strength without any of the sociopolitical mess in China. Though in light of the recent earthquake, Korea might be a better choice for the moment.

thailand. people are nice, food is good. philippines, people are relatively nice, food ok japan, people are relatively nice, food great korea, people difficult, food challenging china, people nice, food good. vietnam, people relatively nice, food good.

Depends on your home country. Philippines is good if from U.S. But if you mean exchange student don't expect them to speak good english even at college level. Its the official language for government, but they don't do it very good. Just watch your wallet at all times and remember the taxis will always try to charge you X10 the real fare. Don't wear jewelry. Otherwise the cost of living is low, especially on Mindanao. Don't go to Manila. Its a crappy place. Pollution, traffic congestion, poverty and crime. I'd suggest Davao City, Cagayan de Oro or Dipolog. Nice places with reasonable cost of living.
4 :
Try Indonesia especially the very famous Bali Island where most celebrities choose to visit. They are best in accommodation services especially with villas.

philippines :D there is a lot of beautiful tourists spot to go ^^
