The industrial revolution had started.

The 19th Century is known as a time of great industrial expansion for Europe. It was particularly cut-throat,too. Britain led the movement, and other countries soon followed, trying to gain industrial strenth. This was all leading up inevitably to a war--the Great War, or WWI. These attempts to gain natural resources became especially competitive between European countries, so this competition drove it. The movement is known as the "scramble for Africa," and later the "scramble to Asia." Europeans simply divided up Africa, for the first time they were moving into the interior of the African continent. Whereas the times before, control of Africa had been limited to ports around the east and west. I think the idea of Nationalism was a key motive for this move to gain natural resources, Governments promoted patriotism because they saw international politics as this grave competition. The 19th century was very important for establishing modern civlization, but we've certainly developed a sense of moral economy that was simply not present at the time.

I am trying to bring in new busineses in Asia market . Wat else is the best to promote here.Beside food and machinery industry. What if it ia food or Machinery . Please advice

I think, Machinery is the best, for example, in our country in philippines very often in market? and beside we have already products coming from different country? our local products very affected for our employment, specially the price not competated, to this imported ounce, we know already our local leader here very corupt, i suggest that the investor should put in there machinery to produce products inside our country so that we can promote jobs. not money to invest. What is an interesting country to study in Asia?
I have to study a country from Asia for Social Studies and create a Slide Show on it. What is an interesting one to study.

China has one of the worlds oldest civilization. It is an amazing country and a slide show won't be enough to cover its history, culture, and present. BUT You can summerize it and make an amazing slide show. Terms to google: China Ancient Civilizationg, Bo people, ect. IMO, Cambodia has a fasinating history also. Very humble people. Terms to google: Rice Fields, Killing Fields, ect.

Philippines. It was colonized by Spain for 300 years, America for 40 years and Japan for 3 years. The British and the Dutch had each one attempt but were repulsed by the Spanish armada. What are its influences on these people especially today.

Not because I am a Filipino but the Philippines can be an interesting study. Its culture has been influenced by Muslim, Chinese, Spanish and American cultures. In fact Filipinos themselves do not have a clear identity like Chinese, Japanese or Indians. For this reason, Filipinos easily blend with foreign cultures and avoid common cultural conflicts. There are still tribal minorities in remote areas of the Philippines but are slowly dying out because of modern and western influences.

I think the obvious answer is the Philippines. It is where the East meets the West, It is the fusion of Asian, American and European cultures. Good luck!

MALAYSIA is the reason why you should choose. Most colleges or Universities have educational links with overseas universities especially in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
