It will be better if you buy round trip ticket from a US city to a city in Asia (to save some money). Then get plane tickets from that city to wherever you wanna go. For example: I'm flying from Florida to Jakarta round trip. Then from Jakarta, I'll buy tickets to go to Singapore and Malaysia (Jkt-Sing-KL-Jkt).Back to Jakarta, buy ticket to Bali (Jkt-Bali). So if you want, you can buy a ticket to Phillipines, then fly to Thailand from there, with local airlines.

I have flown to the Philippines from Bangkok several times. Getting the plane ticket in Bangkok was no real problem at all. Purchase a round trip ticket to Bangkok, spend about a week or so there and then fly to Manila and visit there for a while, then fly back to Thailand for the rest of your trip. You could also fly to Manila first and then hit Thailand but I think it is easier and maybe cheaper to do Bangkok first. A flight on Thai air will might be around $300-$350 (depending on the season) for an economy ticket, discount airlines a little bit cheaper. The discount airlines may land at Clark Airport at Angeles City not Manila. Thailand is a little bit easier for getting plane tickets to other countries, lots of travel agencies with prices for flights to many places. In Bangkok you can easily get tours to many places. Go to a travel agency and check out their menu selection of tours. Lots of tours to choose from. Real easy! Hotels in Bangkok will be a little cheaper than Manila. Some travel agencies can set you up with plane tickets and hotel rooms too! Start with your plane tickets to Thailand. In Thailand buy your plane tickets to Manila (or if a discount airline to Clark) then set up your hotels. If you need recommendations for hotels you have to mention what your budget is in dollars or baht. Clark to Manila is around 2 or 3 hours by bus. Taxi is not too cheap, maybe $50 US. Bus is around $3 US. (Pay in PHP of course.) Travel agents in Manila can set you up with tours same as Bangkok, they will be a little more expensive than Thailand. Beer is cheaper in Manila if that is an consolation! You do need to get a passport if you don't have one presently. How many days you are allowed in Thailand or the Philippines depends on the passport you hold. PS Where are you flying from? Just noticed that you want to be in the Philippines in December. Caution - that month is one of the hardest times to get hotels in Manila. Many Filipinos return home from work in other countries and many hotels have full bookings! Thailand is busy this time too! This is high season! Good luck.

If you are looking for all in one spot. Probably but, it depends on what you are looking for. A good thai website for all things is: www.thaiwebsite.com here is the Philippine Tourism and convention site: http://www.dotpcvc.gov.ph/ A couple sites for planning a multi stop trip are: www.kayak.com www.sidestep.com It takes knowing where you want to go and then going from there. Good luck

Usually, people start north. From Hong Kong, then take a plane to Bangkok in thailand - then KualaLumpur in malaysia, then Singapore (via a causeway from malaysia, which takes about 20 minutes), then Jakarta in indonesia. For these trips, it is best for you to research extensively on the countries yourself, and plan the route properly
