Does anyone know two famous assassinations in Asia or Europe?

Does anyone know two famous assassinations in Asia or Europe?
I'm doing a time line of famous assassinations in three different continents: North America, Asia, and Europe. But I still need two more assassinations in both Asia and Europe. I already have all the Gandhi's and Julius Caesar, are there any more famous assassinations left? Thanks, I need as much help as I can get.

Europe: Well, there was this Archduke Franz Ferdinand who kicked it recently, but it didn't come to much. The assassination of Michael Collins, in Ireland, was almost un-noteworthy too. Asia: Would you count the countless Taliban #2's that were taken out by smart bombs as victims of assassination? It's killing a specific person for political gain, isn't it? More specifically, Abdul Ghani Lone, a moderate Muslim leader in India was assassinated rather recently... 2002, iirc.

Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary. Diem of South Vietnam.
